At present, China's synthetic resin production capacity has reached 10 million tons, ranking the top five in the world after the United States, Japan, Germany and South Korea. However, there is still a large gap in various special resins required for plastic pipes. Although the output of PE and PP resins is large in China, there are not many resins suitable for pipes, especially PE pipe special materials suitable for urban water supply and urban gas transmission and PP-R special materials for building cold and hot water. A certain number of special resins for plastic pipes need to be imported.
China's plastic pipeline is developing rapidly and its quality is constantly improving. Because of its unique advantages, polyethylene (PE) pipe is widely used in building water supply, building drainage, buried drainage pipe, building heating, gas transmission pipe, electrical and telecommunication protection sleeve, industrial pipe, agricultural pipe, etc. It is mainly used in urban water supply, urban gas supply and farmland irrigation.
